Election Guide, Polls, Write-in Candidates 2010

There is a correction below marked ** regarding Superintendent of Public Instruction candidate. I regret the error.

The following table below is a summary of Christian voter’s guide on a few California races compiled by a friend  for your reference.

As shown below, Electionforum strongly supports candidates who hold strong conservative view on social/moral issues. See candidates of races  marked with * below.    I would suggest that you bear this in mind:  if polls indicate that these candidates have little chance of winning over the liberal candidates,  then a vote cast for each of them is a vote cast for the democratic liberal candidate.

In the Governor’s race, Rasmussan’s poll on  Oct 21 shows Jerry Brown 48 to Whitman’s 42%. Four percent (4%) prefer some other candidate, and six percent (6%) are undecided

Many conservative Christians support write-in Charlene Nightingale. Her supporters may be 4-5% of California voters. She is not anywhere near winning. So, why waste the vote? Why not cast your votes against the liberal Jerry Brown by voting for Whitman?

Jerry Brown said just last week that he will help every young man and woman to get to college, documented or not. This will surely help our deficit and improve our educational standard of higher education. Not.

He will continue to spend based on ideology, on energy, he will tax the rich, impose taxes and strict requirements for corporations and businesses that provide jobs, driving them to other states.

Whitman is behind but close enough to have a fighting chance.

Conservative idealism should have been fought at the primary election.

Now is not the time to make a statement on behalf of conservative ideals and lose a war to liberalism by splitting the republican votes..

Every vote counts. Don’t waste your vote. See the big picture.

Lt. Governor. Survey USA shows ultra liberal Newsom leading 43 to Maldonado 37. Write-in Karen England does not have a chance to defeat Newsom.

See my blog about Lt. Governor race. https://pnclaw.wordpress.com

State Superintendent of Public Instruction. Democrat Torlakson and **republican Aceves are neck and neck. Torlakson, a former teacher years ago, is endorsed by the powerful California Teachers Association and the Democratic Party, while Aceves has strong backing from a vast number of public school superintendents and principals.

Again we have a conservative write-in Diane Lenning.

**Correction:  Acheves is a life-long democrat who has recently registered as an Independent.  He is also endorsed by such newspapers as the Los Angeles Times and San Francisco Chronicle.

Diane Lenning is not likely to have enough vote to defeat either of above.  Judging from the powerful backing in this blue state for both Torlakson and Acheves, and the fact that even well known assemblywoman Gloria Romero had bowed out of the race, Diane’s winning would be improbable.

I should research this further, time permitting.

Your information will be welcome.

What are your thoughts?

Larry Aceves is not a Republican. He is a life-long Democrat who switched to decline-to-state a few weeks ago in a cynical political move.

Don’t let the fact the so-called Republican slate mailers let the bureaucrats’ statewide association buy his name onto them fool you.

I love this site pnclaw.wordpress.com. Lot of great information. I am Tech guy. I have been a Desktop Technician since 1997 but have tons of other interests. In my spare time… Oh, wait I don’t have any of that (just kidding). Anyways, I have been aware of this website for quite some time and decided to join the community and contribute as well as learn a lot from others. I am excited to get started on the forum and am looking forward to a great journey together. Lots of potential friends and I look forward to meeting many online.

Thank you for your encouragement. Until 2008, my political awareness and involvement were minimal. Then I woke up to find that political parties, ideologies, policies, and governance affect me, loved ones especially the young ones, my community, and in fact the whole country that we pledge allegiance to.
I wanted to share this with my friends and their friends in a gentle way.

I appreciate your excitement. I wish I get more comments so that you would feel like participating in a community. I have visitors, but they are silent readers. Please contribute and see how it goes. Try it for a little while. I hope the info is useful for you and inspire you to vote for conservative values.
http://www.townhall.com, http://www.michelmalkin.com have good blog community if you like to try them.
